Afghanistan Gunner Ryan Moorhouse
Ryan was deployed to Afghanistan as a gunner with 51 Squadron RAF Regiment in 2007. When an IED exploded under his vehicle, two of his colleagues were killed. Ryan himself suffered a frontal facial fracture, collapsed eye socket, collapsed lung and neck injury, and cognitive impairment. Read about Ryan's story

RAFBF supporter David Ebbage is kindly offering use of his holiday apartment ‘La Salibere’, in the North Mayenne region of France, to members of the RAF family who are in need of a break. New RAFBF games area at RAF Marham!
Children at RAF Marham are set to benefit from a new multi-use games area opened by Her Majesty The Queen this month. The games area, funded by the RAFBF will give children and young people – both from the local community and from families based at RAF Marham – safe and modern facilities to enjoy on a station that is particularly isolated.
