The RAF Falcons, the world's leading parachute display team put their parachutes to one side this month to take part in a gruelling 24 hour run in support of the RAFBF. All managed to beat their personal bests with distances ranging from 31.45 to 61.45 miles. Find out more..

What happens when ex-RAF suffer post traumatic stress?
Why does it take an average of 14 years for retired RAF personnel to seek support when suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder? This is one of the questions we put to Combat Stress Welfare Officer Stephen Pettitt in a recent interview. Stephen is part of the new Combat Stress East Anglia Community Outreach Team funded by the RAF Benevolent Fund. Read the interview.

RAFBF helps Polish WWII veteran return home
After travelling to Britain from Poland as a 20 year old, Tony Rogers dedicated his life to the Royal Air Force, including serving as a pilot in World War Two. During the war, Tony flew daring missions to supply the Warsaw Resistance. Tony has been wanting to return home to pay his respects to his fallen comrades, so he contacted the RAFBF for assistance. Craig Cooper, 30, from Lincolnshire, served in the RAF Regiment from 2000 to 2008, leaving after a medical discharge. The serious financial pressure he fell under was made considerably worse when his wife prematurely gave birth to twins, both of whom have Cerebral Palsy.
